Parmesan Garlic Wings (Air Fryer)

Wing stop who?

Mouthwatering Air Fried Parmesan Garlic Chicken Wings for the win!

Parmesan Garlic, Honey-lemon pepper and Honey Old Bay are my absolute favorite flavored wings. These are the perfect appetizer, dinner or game day snack. I always use fresh chicken because I don't like fooling with those little janky ass frozen party wings. LOL These are cooked to perfection in the Air Fryer in about 30 minutes. As you can see I cut my chicken into parts because I like all the flats and everybody else can have the drums 😋🤪.

Are you team Flats or Team Drums?

What you'll need:

For the chicken:

1 1/2 lbs - Chicken wings (cut into flats and drums). You can also use the frozen party wings.

1 1/2 tbsp - Baking Powder

1/2 tsp - Garlic powder

3/4 tsp - Onion powder

1/2 tsp - Paprika

1/2 tsp - Black Pepper

1/2 tsp - Garlic Lovers by Flavor God (optional)

1/4 tsp - Sea Salt

3/4 tsp - Olive oil

For the Parmesan Garlic Sauce:

3/4 cup - Grated Parmesan Cheese (the one from the refrigerator section of grocery store works best)

1/4 - Black Pepper

1 tsp - Onion Powder

1 tsp - Garlic Powder

1/2 tbsp - Parsley

1/4 cup - Unsalted Butter (melted)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Air Fryer to 400 degrees.

  2. After chicken has been thoroughly cleaned and pat dry, cut into parts if you're using fresh whole wings.

  3. In a small bowl combine all ingredients for the chicken. In an large bowl, add chicken then drizzle with Olive oil.

  4. Sprinkle seasoning mixture over chicken then toss to ensure all chicken is coated.

  5. Place chicken in the air fryer in a single layer (do not overcrowd). If you're cooking a lot of chicken you will have to do this in batches.

  6. Cook chicken for 15 minutes. Flip chicken then cook an additional 15 minutes.

  7. When chicken is done, remove from air fryer and place on a cooling rack.

  8. In another small bowl mix all the ingredients for the sauce. Pour sauce over chicken and toss to coat.

  9. Enjoy!

Tip: If you want your chicken a little more crispier, return it to the air fryer after you've added the sauce and cook for about 3 to 4 additional minutes.
